DESCRIPTION:Aalto University MBA Alumni Association  Annual General Meeting will be held on 28 January 2015 at AEE\, Mechelininkatu 3 C\, 00100 Helsinki from 5-6.30 pm. \nThe Annual General Meeting has the following agenda: \nThe Chairman of the Board or Vice Chairman\, or if both are absent\, another Board member opens the meeting \nThe chairman for the meeting is elected \nThe secretary for the meeting is elected \nTwo (2) approvers of the minutes and two (2) vote counters are selected \nThe legality and quorum of the meeting are confirmed \nThe annual report from the previous accounting period is presented \nThe financial statements\, the annual report and the auditor’s report from the previous accounting period is presented \nThe profit and loss statement from the previous accounting period is presented \nDeciding of the approval of the financial statements \nDeciding of the discharge of the persons responsible for the accounts from further liability is confirmed \nThe action plan and budget proposal for the accounting period is presented and confirmed \nDeciding of the membership fees for the accounting period \nThe budget proposal for the accounting period is presented \nDeciding of the approval of the action plan and budget for the accounting period \nDeciding of the number of Board members \nElecting the Board members of the Association \nElecting an auditor and deputy auditor for the Association \nHandling other matters stated in the invitation and agenda \nEach member of the Association has one (1) vote at the meeting. Unless stated otherwise in the rules of the Association\, matters are decided on a simple majority vote basis. If the vote is tied\, the chairman has a casting vote to decide the matter\, except in case of elections where in the event of a tied vote\, a tie decides the election. DESCRIPTION:The Annual General Meeting of the Aalto University Alumni Association will be held in accordance with the by-laws of the Association on 12th March 2014. \nAll MBA Alumni from Aalto University MBA programs\, HSE or TKK MBA programs are cordially invited the Annual General Meeting on March 12\, 2014 at Messukeskus main office\, Messuaukio 1. The AGM will start at 18.15 following the company visit. Voting rights are granted to all paid members of the Association. \nPlease register HERE. \nAgenda \n– Open the meeting\n– Elect the chairman\n– Elect the secretary for the meeting\n– Select two (2) approvers of the minutes and two (2) vote counters\n– Confirm the legality and quorum of the meeting\n– Presentation of the balance sheet from the previous accounting period\n– Presentation of the profit and loss statement from the previous accounting period\n– Discharge the Treasurer and auditor from responsibility for the accounts\n– Presentation of the action plan for the accounting period for confirmation\n– Deciding the membership fees for the accounting period\n– Electing the Board members of the Association\n– Electing an auditor for the Association\n– Handling other matters stated in the invitation and agenda\n– Adjourn the meeting \nBoard nominations \nElection of the Board is held at each AGM.
