PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY: TIMO RITAKALLIO
Timo Ritakallio has worked as President and Chief Executive Officer at Ilmarinen Mutual Pension Insurance Company from 1st February 2015. Before that he worked for Ilmarinen as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer since August 2008. Ilmarinen is a leading pension insurance company in Finland with EUR 36 billion total assets. Before the current position at Ilmarinen, Timo Ritakallio has worked for 20 years in various top management positions in the banking industry. He has taken Master’s degree in law (LL.MM.) in the University of Turku in 1985, Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Helsinki University of Technology, Helsinki in 2001 and AMP (Advanced Management Program) in Harvard Business School, Boston, USA in 2006. Timo Ritakallio is as well Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors at Outotec, which is listed company on the Helsinki Stock Exchange, and Chairman of the Board of the Finnish Pension Alliance Tela.
